The most popular being the Sydney rock oyster which is grown along the eastern seaboard in the temperate estuary waters from Victoria to Queensland. The Sydney rock oyster has a rich and creamy nature and are medium sized compared to other varieties and can be easily identified by the shell shape. Sydney rock oysters take about 4 years to grow to market size and are low in cholesterol and high in omega-3, calcium, iron and zinc.

Oysters do have a good shelf life when kept whole, of up to 14 days providing they are kept at the correct temperature (10 to 15 degrees Celsius; 32 to 41 °F) and handled safely.


From the day of opening Oysters. Store in Refrigerator at 4 degrees Celsius and consume within 7 days.

Acceptance of an order is conditional on the availability of the products you have ordered. All items are subject to availability. If any of the products you have ordered are unavailable we will inform you immediately and offer an alternative.

Order amendments and cancellations must be made by 6pm the night before delivery date.

We use a secure online order form for all purchases made via the website. All data transmitted via this form including credit card details is 128 bit encrypted to secure transmission via PayPal's Secure Payment Gateway. Your credit card information is not stored by Armstrong Oysters Pty Ltd.

Payment is by credit card on our website and can be made using Visa or Mastercard.

Your order will be acknowledged immediately by email.  Once your order has been prepared and packed, payment will be processed. This will be on the morning of delivery day.

3.Personal Information

In order for us to process your order we collect personally identifiable information relating to you including your name, address, telephone number and email address. We will only use your personal information for the purpose for which you provide it to us including response to enquires, delivering items, processing payments, communication to you with regard to order. We will not pass on any details about you to any person not directly employed by us, unless required to do so by law.


Your order should reach you in perfect condition. We recommend that you inspect packages at point of delivery. To ensure that products arrive in perfect condition and to ensure quality, orders are delivered in our insulated boxes packed with ice. Packaging conditions are such that contents will be maintained at the correct temperature for 12 hours from the time of despatch.

Deliveries are made on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 1pm and 6pm (except for Public  Holidays where arrangement details will be posted on the site).  Orders must be placed by 6pm on the day prior to the required delivery day.  Orders are prepared on the day of delivery from products specifically purchased for your order, fresh from Armstrong Oysters..

Delivery charges .

Delivery charges are from $16.95 (Plus GST) dependant on the area of delivery.  Delivery charges are for one delivery to one Australian address. Please note that we are unable to specify an exact delivery time. Risk of damage of goods including deterioration of fresh foods passes to you on delivery of all goods.

It is your responsibility to check your order carefully on receipt of goods. In the unlikely event of orders being found unsatisfactory, damaged or incomplete, you must contact us immediately, and within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Any special or additional packaging requirements will incur an extra charge.

Authority to Leave

Upon checkout of the website, all customers agree to an Authority to Leave meaning your package will be left unattended should you not be home to receive it. This is why we request you please provide very clear and detailed delivery instructions for our drivers when placing your order. All orders are packed into insulated boxes in order to maintain the required temperature.

Armstrong Oysters Pty Ltd complies with all Australian food safety standards. We internally and externally audit our food safety processes and standards on a regular basis in order to maintain the highest level of food safety.

6.Limitation Of Liability

Armstrong Oysters Pty Ltd maximum liability to you for products purchased from our website shall be limited to the refund of the purchase price you have paid for the products. Armstrong Oysters Pty Ltd will not be liable for any property damage, personal injury, loss of use, interruptions of business, loss of profits, or other consequential, indirect, incidental, punitive or special damages, however caused, whether for breach of warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise except which it is unlawful to exclude.
